Is your Year starting off this way? Not really sure which way to go? Those famous words from Lewis Carroll?s classic still ring true. It doesn?t really matter which way you go if you don?t know where you want to go.

So, what?s next for you in ?09?

Let?s see if we can smooth out the launch a little.

1st, pick 3 things you want to do in 2009. Any 3. It can be related to work, life, spiritual, whatever, as long as it is important to you.

Next, look around you. Not on the floor, but around you. Look at people you know, at your skills, at your attitude and self beliefs. Do you believe in those three choices and do you have the people, Attitude, Skills and Knowledge to bring those 3 important goals to life?

Here is the secret for accomplishing what you want.

Ready?

ASK. Attitude, Skills and Knowledge. I know, too simple, isn?t it? I thought so too. Yet every time I start to question whether or not I can bring something to fruition in my life, I keep coming back to these three, these 3 simple words.

Do I have an Attitude of Belief? Cheerfulness? Desire? Helpfulness? Sincerity?

Do I have the Skills necessary? If not, what will it take?

Do I have the Knowledge? If not, am I capable of learning to fill in the gaps?

And, if my answer is yes to all 3, guess what? My odds of getting what I have decided is important to me goes up. It will for you too.

Here is the last step. Ready?

Take Action! I know, that seems so simple too! My motto for 2009 is to take action. Stop standing around waiting for something to happen. It won?t.

You can use the same motto. In fact, I have this on a 3?5 card on the wall in front of me as I write this article.

Don?t think like Alice, be like Alice or live like Alice.
