iPhone Apps for Savings and Productivity: Back-to-School ...

.................................................................................................................

I?m always looking for ways to keep my life organized and on-point with all of the activities going on around me. Going back to school creates a clash of schedules and long lists of things that need to be done. But with these top education and productivity apps, it can be easy to keep track of assignments, teacher contacts and even grades.

Free Apps

inClass: This app is normally $0.99 but for a short time you can get it free. It?s a student organizer that keeps track of courses, notes, and class schedules. It comes with a calendar, task organizer, and alerts to help keep any busy student on track.

Wikipedia: Gone are the days when Wikipedia was snubbed by academia. An unlimited amount of information and wealth of knowledge on any subject is right at your fingertips with this app. It?s a great first place to look when researching anything.

ScatterBrain: This is one of the most downloaded free productivity apps of the year. It helps keep track of your thoughts, notes, grocery and to-do lists, and even your menu for the week. Use it to make getting into the swing of things a little easier.

Dictionary.com Flashcards: Customize your own flashcards to master words by grade level, subject, or standardized test and create a quick reference guide for thousands of words.

Wunderlist: This multiplatform app is one of 2010?s best productivity apps. Use it to sync, collaborate, multi-task and manage your notes and emails from anywhere.

eTextbooks for the iPad: This app lets you take notes and read all your digital textbooks on your iPad for free. With the rising costs of school, saving some dough on books is a no-brainer. Give this a whirl if you have an iPad.

Apps Under $2

iHomework: helps students manage everything from class schedules to assignments and grades. Save your teachers and professors contact information and stay synced across multiple devices so you never lose track of what you?re supposed to be doing.

Snoozerr: This voice recording app allows you to record lectures with a timestamp that automatically corresponds to photos taken of diagrams, graphs, and class materials. If you?re going digital with all your notes this year, this is a must-have.

Craigslist Classifieds: Use the smart location feature to view classifieds in your area, for deals on college dorm furniture, discounted services or to list your own items to make some much needed cash.

If you?re a tech geek like me, you will love these applications. They?ll keep your year start and stay organized no matter what kind of back-to-school madness pops up.
